The work shop among the trees (see “the full story”) allows furniture repair, custom wood fabrication and fine art items to be built on site. We make moldings and architraves, cabinets, custom shelving, pot racks, bench tops, tables, trunks/chests, gift and tool boxes, wooden signs, and just about anything wood.

RECYCLED:

We specialise in deconstructing old furniture, using old salvaged timber, or reclaiming rough-sawn planks and up-cycling where possible. We mill the timber again, and create something altogether new but warmly familiar at the same time. Nail holes, knots, split grain with or without repairs, and checking are all celebrated as part of the enduring tree and a further opportunity to protect such history (sometimes thousands of years worth!) It can be a beautiful and respectful process for living with “real” timber, keeping old family treasures, and providing new functionality around the home and property.
